Credentials and Training

I have a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Department of Applied Psychology of The Antioch New England Graduate School (2000) in Keene, New Hampshire.

My undergraduate studies in Neurobiology and Philosophy were at the University of Rochester from which I graduated in 1990.  Starting from my first year in graduate school in 1997 until 2019, I have completed eight professional clinical trainings of 5-7 days with Dr. David Schnarch, the creator of “The Crucible Approach”, in Cape Cod, Sonoma, Denver, Tel Aviv, and Seattle.  I also am certified by STENS Corporation in Biofeedback, Pediatric Biofeedback, and Neurofeedback.

I have Level 1 certification in EMDR from a 1998 course provided by Harvard Medical School and taught by Dr. Francine Shapiro, the founder of EMDR as well as from a 2018 course in Jerusalem taught by Dr. Gary Quinn.  I was personally trained by the creator of the Elbaum Method for Intelligence Integration, Dr. Moshe Elbaum, and had the great privilege of working with him at his clinic in Herzliya Pituach during the two years prior to my graduate studies.

I have been married for almost 30 years and am a father and grandfather.
